10 May - 29 June
Opening 10 May 6.30 p.m.
London, a cosmopolitan city, drawn and narrated through its streets, immense parks, monuments, vibrancy and ability to inspire and influence the rest of the world with its inexhaustible creativity. The city is observed in its changes, in the contours of old and new buildings bordering the Thames, in the great cranes that tower between spires and skyscrapers and in the city's intense cultural life.
With rigorous drawing, sharp colours and a cheerful and unexpected gaze, Carlo Stanga tells us the story of the city and the many reasons to take a closer look at it. Illustrations in dialogue with the work done for the volume I am London (Moleskine, 2016), unpublished pencil and ink drawings.
Tuesday to Saturday 10.30 - 13 and 14 - 19.30
